Introducing: Traverse City Design Week

TCDW is a week-long series of a events celebrating real, radical, local design.

The Mission: To showcase local design that solves real-world problems, to fuel Northern Michigan’s design culture, and unite our interdisciplinary design community.

Whether you’re a designer or a design enthusiast, TCDW invites you to celebrate, learn, and shape the future of design in our region.

  • Design Quest

    Design Quest is a regional, self-guided, exploration of radical local design and designers.

    -Are you able to host the general public throughout the week?
    -Do you want to show off a space or design that you're proud of?
    -Are you able to showcase how you use design in your work and give examples?
    -Could you share your process with the public in a creative way? Then we want to feature you on the Design Quest!

    Design Sessions are informative events built for creative exchange, scheduled throughout the week of TCDW, and hosted by YOU!

    The Radical Design Awards & Exhibition is exciting finale of Traverse City Design Week, celebrating radical design with real-world impact. The evening features an exhibition of regional designers, a fashion show, and more—culminating in the announcement of this year’s Radical Design Award winner.
